The Second International Workshop on Security Aspects in Grid and Cloud Computing (SAGC 2010)To be held in conjunction with the Fifth International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES 2010 – http://www.ares-conference.eu).
February 15th – 18th, 2010 Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Cracow College Krakow, Poland
The demand of today’s Information society on huge volumes of data and intensive computing capacity is a decisive factor for success or failure of projects. This circumstance is applicable for both the scientific and the business domain. As a consequence interconnection of spatially dispersed information systems providing required information ubiquitously and timely and flexible resource management on demand are commonly used today - especially driven by recent Cloud Computing progresses. The workshop, thus, aims at bringing together researchers from the field of Grid and Cloud Computing Security to present their ideas and concepts.
Topics of interest comprise but are not limited to: - Authentication and Authorization - Security Architectures for Grid/Cloud Computing - Logging and Auditing in Grids/Clouds - Grid/Cloud monitoring, management, and organization tools - Resource management, reservation, scheduling, and load balancing - Web services and web security in Grid/Cloud computing - Malicious Code Protection - Grid/Cloud Computing virtual organization and policy - Distributed Query Processing - Data Mining in Grids/Clouds - Single-Sign on Technologies - Trust in Grids/Clouds
